There are several reasons for not using an antenna tuner... for instance;  Using the BUXCOMM multi-band Windom, you can change frequencies and/or bands without having to stop and retune every time you switch bands or frequency.  It\\\'s also one of the best reasons to use the Windom as the antenna of choice for field-day and contesting.  While the other guy is tuning up, you\\\'re making points elsewhere.

Our Windom antennas employ multi-core, *vestigial, wide-band, BALUNs and cover most all HF bands: 
As example; our 802134 covers eight (8) bands, 80, 75, 40, 30, 15, 10, 6, 2 meters and most WARC bands.

Beneath the Windom Selection boxes; are the BALUN selections:  The BALUN default selection is 4:1
If Windom is erected 25 to 50 feet high, use default (4:1) selection. 
If Windom is erected 50 to 65 feet high; Select, 5:1 BALUN
If Windom is erected 65 or more feet,  Select 6:1 BALUN
